Why a Self-Watering Container?

One of the neat features of the Root-Vue Farm is the wicking system which creates a self-watering container.

When the basin of the Root-Vue is filled with water, the wicking system keeps the soil moist, which is very important for growing vegetables and takes the guesswork out of knowing how much to water. This is particularly nice for first-time gardener's or for use in the classroom.
